Dear students,

by the decision of the Senate of the University of Split of July 24, 2009, the University of Split established the “University Study Center for Forensic Sciences”. That name was changed on September 26, 2011 and since then reads “University Department of Forensic Sciences”. Our Department conducts a two-year graduate university study of Forensics, upon completion of which students acquire an additional 120 ECTS credits and the academic title of Master of Forensics. Within this interdisciplinary study program, unique in the Republic of Croatia and the surrounding countries, the following four study modules are available to students:

• Module I: Crime Scene Investigation
• Module II: Forensic chemistry and molecular biology
• Module III: Forensics and National Securities
• Module IV: Financial and Accounting Forensics.

In these modules, students are trained for extremely attractive and reputable professions in the field of forensics, for which the demand in the world is constantly growing.
