Graduate University Study of Forensics lasts for two years, i.e. four semesters, and may be enrolled on the basis of the results of the classification procedure after completion of the appropriate study and after acquiring 180 ECTS credits. Five study modules are distinguished within the Graduate study of Forensics: module Crime Scene Investigation, module Forensic Chemistry and Molecular Biology, module Forensics and National Securities, module Financial and Accounting Forensics, module Management in Firefighting and Fire Investigation. After finishing the study program the student acquires 120 ECTS credits and the academic title Master of Forensics (mag. forens.). After completion of the Graduate Study of Forensics the students may be enrolled in the postgraduate doctoral study lasting for 3 years (180 ECTS) in related fields.
