Undergraduate University Study of forensics lasts for three years, i.e. six semesters and is implemented as a full-time study at the University of Split. Five study modules are distinguished within the Undergraduate study of Forensics: module Crime Scene Investigation, module Forensic Chemistry and Molecular Biology, module Forensics and National Securities, module Financial and Accounting Forensics, module Management in Firefighting and Fire Investigation. After finishing the Undergraduate University Study of Forensics the student is issued a certificate confirming completion of studies and an acquisition of an academic title: Bachelor of Forensics (univ. bacc. Forens.). After the completion of the undergraduate university study and after acquiring 180 ECTS credits, the student may be enrolled in an appropriate graduate study.
On March 5, 2021, the Ministry of Science and Education entered the Undergraduate Study Program of Forensics, University Department of Forensic Sciences, at the University of Split, in the Register of Study Programs. The study is implemented at the University Department of Forensic Sciences for three years, and by its completion 180 ECTS credits is acquired. The study implementation will begin in academic year 2021/2022.

BEGINNING OF CLASSES AT THE UNDERGRADUATE UNIVERSITY STUDY OF FORENSICS:
The beginning of classes in the new academic year will take place on Monday, September 29, 2025, starting at 1:00 p.m.
Student gathering is scheduled in front of the Faculty of Forensic Sciences building, Ruđera Boškovića 33, Split, followed by a joint walk to the nearby building where the introductory lecture will be held.
Students are kindly asked to arrive on time.
On the first day of classes, you will receive your electronic identities (AAI) and student ID cards. On the same day, the first course will also begin.
Classes at the Faculty of Forensic Sciences are conducted according to a rotational model, which means that one course is attended over a specific period of time, after which the exam follows. The next course then begins.
The class schedule will be published on the Faculty’s website at the end of September 2025.
